Meet the Artist - Angela Johnson

Angela Johnson is the designer and creative mind behind Evergreen Flower Farm, which is located, quite literally, in a small beach town in the middle of nowhere Washington. While this isn't the official address, it's pretty accurate, and Angela couldn't think of a more perfect place to be. She is living her dream of living on a farm with animals, gardening, creating, and being connected to the land. Angela makes her floral arrangements with the beauty of nature and draws inspiration from her surroundings. Angela's style is eclectic. Think Alice in Wonderland meets Goth. It's colorful, vibrant, elegant, wild, unique, whimsical, artistic, and non-traditional. She has been doing Floral Design for 27 years, working with fresh and dried flowers, and loves bringing her clients' vision to life through her unique style.

As they say, when it rains, plant some flowers. Evergreen Flower Farm opened in Grayland, Washington, in 2022, born out of necessity and developed with passion. With the support of her family, friends, and community, Angela has created a magical space on her property with her husband, Ray, where her creativity can flourish. She believed if she built a beautiful, whimsical, and fun place, people would want to make the drive through the cranberry bogs to experience it themselves. She loves seeing first-time visitors and people who unexpectedly find the farm, with expressions of surprise and delight when they discover it. For Angela, it's not just about flowers. It's the connection to people, the connection to nature, the animals, the textures, the colors, and sharing in that creative journey.
